கல்கியின் 'பொன்னியின் செல்வன்' வரலாற்று புதினம் இரண்டாயிரத்திற்கு மேற்பட்ட பக்கங்களுடன் ஐந்து தொகுதிகளை உள்ளடக்கியது. இக்கதையை ஐந்தில் ஒரு பகுதியாக, 400 பக்கங்களுக்குள் வருமாறு கல்கி அவர்களது எழுத்துக்களிலேயே சுருக்கி இத்தளத்தில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அத்தியாங்கள் பகுதியில் கருத்துரைக்க வாய்ப்பளிக்கப் படவில்லை.
அதனால், கதைச்சுருக்கம் செய்ததில் உள்ள நிறை குறைகளை இப்பகுதியில் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்ளும்படி வேண்டுகிறேன்.
